The Unitarian Campus is home to First Unitarian Congregation and Unitarian house. Constructon is in progrss on a new home for River Parkway Preschool Centre on the campus. There are over forty groups which regularly use the facilities, many have been part of of the Unitarian Campus family for years. There are nearby areas for walks around the Campus or on NCC land along the River Parkway provide respite from the day's agenda during breaks or for take out lunches. It is always a treat to walk to the Chauriere overlook (toward Britannia) and watch the ducks, geese, and other water birds which flock there. The Congregation has adopted 2.6 KM of the Ottawa Riverbank regularly leading tours with naturalists and undertaking semi-annual clean ups. Local restaurants offer a variety of fares from Thai to Greek, Italian and Chinese. There is also a wonderful Polish Deli which makes simple and delicious sandwiches at a very reasonable price.
