Merlin is a character of Celtic legend who is supposed to have lived his life backwards.  He was born in modern times and as he aged he moved back through time, stirring the waters of life in directions not ordinarily possible.  We will do something similar—beginning with what is immediate; ourselves, our past experiences, what brings us here and what we seek, and the history we have to work with: what inspires us.

We will proceed through transformation, opening ourselves further to the changes our inspirations wright in us.  There will be more direct challenges to existing paradigms, more invitations to choose discomfort over stasis.

Finally we will move to integration, taking what has been and what is becoming into our daily lives—how can we incorporate what we have learned and embrace it?  In what ways do we become part of the communities we choose?  What can we as communities do to share our visions with the world?
