With no creed, exact beliefs are less important than behaviour to UU's, so we
get to know UU's through their acts.

Identifying individuals by religion is fraught
with difficulties because beliefs and affiliations may change over time. In
creating up this list we have used standards which identify individuals as 1)
having been a member of a Unitarian Congregation, 2) having attended as friends
for a significant period of time, or 3) having written that they were Unitarians
or Universalists. Some of these individuals are shared with other faiths or the
non-churched world. Some were born in Canada but did most of their ministry out
of the country. Should any living person not want her/his name on this list, it
will, of course, be removed. Please let us know at the e-mail below.
